at Ubisoft, I was responsible for managing the character art production team where we worked on all current and future RB6 Operatives. My responsibilities ranged from training and mentoring employees to ensuring every artist and designer was working at their best potential and ensuring the best career progression.
Responsibilities:
- Mentoring Artists & Riggers
- Managing timelines and deliveries for seasons
- Manage risk and workload balance
- Provide career growth and individual growth through 1 on 1's and mentor programs
- Plan projected workloads and balance resources for future seasons
- Work with external Co-Dev studios for cinematics, merchandise, etc.
- Manage timesheet and vacation paperwork for team
- Conduct interviews and support the hiring process with onboarding new team members.
- Work with customization, animation, tech, and concept teams to establish a consistent character production
- Establish new mandates for improving technology and workflows for future artists and team members
