Jumping into 2025 with a lot of personal work wrapping up.
This is a self-portrait that I have been working on for the last couple months. The goal was to achieve a level of realism using the usual character production workflow so starting from a zbrush sculpt, retopo, baking the highres detail etc. I am super happy with how this has turned out and it helped grow my eye for detail and the small nuances in creating humans.
This is rendered using Blender Cycles, the model was sculpted in Zbrush, and texturing was done in Substance Painter.
